In big container storage yards and railway transship fields, rail mounted container gantry cranes (RMG cranes) are primarily used to load, unload, move, and stack containers. It is made up of a primary girder, rigid and flexible outriggers, trolley and crane travel mechanisms, lifting mechanisms, and operator cabs.
