The longest and toughest sea crossing bridge in the world is the Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. In China's Guangdong Province, it connects Hongkong, Lantau Island, the Macau Peninsula, and Zhuhai City. A subsea tunnel, an artificial island off the coast, and a 29.6 km long main bridge were all included in the project.
This was the project on which China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering and HL-Kattor worked together. It was the first time that the 2200-ton Floating crane from HL-Kattor had done high-load operations like this on a project together.
Additionally, HL-Kattor supplied double-acting hydraulic jacks for steel pipe and precast piers for synchronous lifting, 12pcs of 100t self locking jack for pier moving and 4 sets of 3D jack for pier adjustment and precise positioning.
