Project Description

The Yellow River Bridge on the Zhanhua Linzi Expressway is an important influencing project for the expressway and has a total length of 4630 meters. One of them, the main bridge, is built using factory-produced, pre-standardized, and assembled bridge construction techniques. It has two towers and two cable planes and is made of steel, concrete, and composite girders. In the lower reaches of the Yellow River, it is the biggest steel-concrete composite bridge.

Handun No. 1 Bridge, Handun No. 2 Bridge, North-South Embankment, and variable-section steel girder system conversion are supplied by HL-Kattor, together with 90 sets of 2500t Synchronous Jacking System for the main bridge, 44 sets of one-to-two hydraulic pump stations, 88 sets of PLC sub-control systems, 24 sets of 2100t sliding tank trolleys, and 2 sets of 200t continuous jacks, among other continuous jack, vertical jack, one-to-two vertical jack pump stations, and continuous jack pump. Additionally, eight vertical top pumping stations were also provided by Hl-Kattor.

On the Shaanxi side of the bridge, the steel beam core box assembly has been finished in 12 segments totaling 125 meters in length. This time, the steel box girder and guide beam measure a total of 294.25 meters in length, and the jacking weight is 3853 tons.
