The new Qiantang River Bridge is located at the downstream side of the second Qianjiang River Bridge, which is a key control project of the reconstruction project of the Hangzhou urban section of the Shanghai Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway. The span of the bridge is (73.4+122+4 × 240+122+73.4) m, with a total length of 1350.8m, of which the steel truss beam is 1348m long. The main beam is a catenary-type continuous steel truss beam structure with upper stiffening. It is arranged on a double deck. The upper layer is an eight-lane first-class highway, and the lower layer is a double-track light rail. The project was undertaken by the Zhejiang Jiaogong Group, and HL-Kattor was jointly responsible for the launching of steel truss beams.
