This is the Changtai Yangtze Project. The main works of Changtai Yangtze River Bridge (river crossing section) are located between Taizhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge and Jiangyin Yangtze River Highway Bridge, about 28.5km from Taizhou Bridge and 30.2km from Jiangyin Bridge respectively. CT-A4 bid section of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge is located on the Changzhou side and is constructed by China Railway Bridge Bureau. Among them, the construction scope of 14 # - S12-C10 is the segment beam erection section, with 58 spans in the upper and lower layers. Two sets of segmental launching gantry and three sets of self propelled modular transporter designed and manufactured by HL-Kattor was employed in this project.

HL-Kattor specially customized a 2200t Modular Spreader Beam for the Aotai project, HL-Kattor took into account all of the unique topographical, hydrological, and construction requirements of the project site. At the same time, the team has discovered a matching installation of various steel beam types that has powerful features like a heavy load and multi-lifting point, self-balancing, automated switching, and incredibly easy control after conducting several tests in the company's production base.

The maximum length of a single girder spreader is 80m, the maximum weight is nearly 2000 tons, and the total weight of the steel girder hoisting is more than 100000 tons. This is the first time that HL-Kattor 2200-ton Modular Spreader beam has carried out high-load operations like this. The heavy load of the slings reaches 86.9% of the rated load.
