The main works of Changtai Yangtze River Bridge (river crossing section) are located between Taizhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge and Jiangyin Yangtze River Highway Bridge. For the first time, Changtai Yangtze River Bridge adopts the trinity river crossing mode of "expressway+intercity railway+first-class highway", which is divided into upper and lower layers. Including 5299.2 meters of expressways, intercity railways and first-class highway. It is the world's first under construction cable-stayed bridge that surpasses the kilometer level and has the world's largest span for both road and rail use; At the same time, it is also the first river crossing channel on the Yangtze River integrating high-speed, intercity railway and first-class highway. The complexity of construction and the difficulty of construction conditions are extremely high! The cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 1176 meters in its main waterway has also broken the world record for a dual-purpose cable-stayed bridge for both highways and railways.
At present, our company has successfully completed the construction of 14-C10 piers of first-class highway, railway and 14-S12 piers of upper highway in the construction section of segmental bridge erecting machine. The equipment is being dismantled in an orderly manner.
The Changzhou side of this project is constructed by China Railway Bridge Bureau, using two sets of 50 meter full span segmental launching gantry designed and manufactured by HL-Kattor Segmental launching gantry, three 220t girder transporters, and responsible for installation, dismantling, labour services and other important works.
The main structure of the 50m segment assembly bridge erecting machine is composed of the main beam (truss type), front, middle, and rear support legs, a 220t large lifting crane, a 16t small crane, a longitudinal and transverse moving mechanism, a fully rotating lifting device, a suspension system, hydraulic and electrical systems, and other components. The full suspension load of the entire machine is greater than 2000t/1600t, and it can move horizontally, level the curve, cross and reverse, rotate the lifting device 360 °, and take beams at the front, bottom, and tail. The characteristics of this section assembly bridge erecting machine are stable operation, simple process, high efficiency, and strong risk resistance.
The construction difficulty of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge project is extremely high, with special construction conditions and extremely challenging construction techniques. The difficulty of the joint construction section of the highway and railway, as well as the connection project of the expressway, is extremely high.
